2024 Meetings
For our September 13, 2024, luncheon pre-registration and payment for lunch is required, by 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 5, 2024. PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
We meet at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Roseville, 2540 Cleveland Ave, Roseville, MN 55113. Doors open at 11am, lunch is served at 11:15am and the program starts promptly at 11:30am.
Irina Fursman will be facilitating the presentation at the Friday, September 13, 2024, meeting. The YouLEAD cohort 2024 (the students and chaperones from Ukraine) will be wrapping up their visit to Minnesota on September 13th. The Optimist Club meeting is the last event of the 5-week program’s agenda. Students will prepare reflections, lessons learned, and key takeaways about leadership to share with the Optimists as they prepare for departure. The format of this meeting will be more informal, with a discussion style and some prepared remarks from the students.
Note that only paid registrants are allowed at the meeting and walk-ons are not permitted. Because of the Club’s financial obligations, attending to only listen to the speaker without a paid registration is not an option. Walk-ins are not permitted.
