2024 Meetings
For our April 12, 2024, luncheon pre-registration and payment for lunch is required, by 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 4, 2024. PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
We meet at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Roseville, 2540 Cleveland Ave, Roseville, MN 55113. Doors open at 11am, lunch is served at 11:15am and the program starts promptly at 11:30am.
Rebecca Butler Mona is the speaker at the Friday, April 12, 2024, meeting. Rebecca is Past President of Optimist International, serving as leader of our organization around the world during the 2018-19 Optimist International Centennial year. Rebecca is a former IBM global marketing executive, graduate of Drake University, and native of Red Oak, Iowa. She is a charter member (1989) and Past Distinguished President of the Noon Optimist Club of Western Des Moines, and has served in a broad range of Club, Iowa District, and International leadership roles over the past 35 years. Rebecca and her husband Mike reside in West Des Moines and are proud parents of Amanda and Alex.
The theme of Rebecca’s presentation is: “Lessons in Leadership and Optimism”.
Note that only paid registrants are allowed at the meeting and walk-ons are not permitted. Because of the Club’s financial obligations, attending to only listen to the speaker without a paid registration is not an option. Walk-ins are not permitted.
