2024 Meetings
For our August 9, 2024, luncheon pre-registration and payment for lunch is required, by 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2024. PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
We meet at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Roseville, 2540 Cleveland Ave, Roseville, MN 55113. Doors open at 11am, lunch is served at 11:15am and the program starts promptly at 11:30am.
Denny Smith is the speaker at the Friday, August 9, 2024, meeting. Denny, a former teacher and coach, is a high energy speaker with a singular mission: To build peoples’ confidence, to increase peoples’ competence and help people get a bigger kick out of life, both on and off the job. He is the author of Emotional Intelligence 101: How to Carve a Duck and Coaches Make the Difference, and is currently working on his latest book, Always Be a Class Act, written for athletes, coaches, and parents. The book is scheduled to be released this fall. His sometimes emotional, sometimes humorous, but always sincere approach to his audience and subject matter has been enjoyed by business groups, sales organizations, health care professionals, educators and students across the United Sates and Canada. Denny is a member of the Roseville Area Optimist Club and Past President of the St. Cloud Morning Optimist Club.
The theme of Denny Smith’s presentation is Leadership from the Inside Out: Create a Culture That People Want To Be A Part Of And A Workplace Where People Enjoy Coming to Work
Note that only paid registrants are allowed at the meeting and walk-ons are not permitted. Because of the Club’s financial obligations, attending to only listen to the speaker without a paid registration is not an option. Walk-ins are not permitted.
